Logistics & Field Service

Logistics software for the people out in the field.

Offline-first mobile apps for drivers and crews, dispatch dashboards for the office, and the integrations that keep both looking at the same truth.

Logistics & Field Service

The office and the field should see the same day.

In many operations the office runs on what was planned and the field runs on what is actually happening. The gap is filled with phone calls, paper and data typed in two days late.

Closing it takes software that works in a basement, a lorry cab or a rural site with no bars, and sends what it captured the moment it can. That constraint shapes everything we build here.

  1. Paper and re-typing

Job sheets and delivery notes filled in by hand, then keyed into a system days later.

  2. No signal, no app

Tools that show a spinner the moment coverage drops, so crews stop using them.

  3. Dispatch without visibility

Planners who cannot see where a vehicle is or whether a job was completed.

  4. Proof that does not hold up

Disputed deliveries and jobs with no photo, signature or timestamp to settle them.

Built in, not bolted on

Reliable in the conditions that matter

Reliability in the field is an engineering property. These are the ones we design for.

  1. Local-first data

Everything a worker needs for the shift stored on the device, with sync as a background concern.

  2. No lost work

Captured data queued durably and retried until the server confirms it.

  3. Battery and data aware

Location and uploads tuned so the phone lasts the shift and the data plan lasts the month.

  4. Location privacy

Tracking limited to working hours, with clear disclosure to the people being tracked.

FAQ

Logistics & Field Service: common questions.

How does offline mode actually work?

The app keeps a local database with everything needed for the shift. Changes are recorded locally, queued, and synced in the background when a connection returns, with rules for resolving conflicts when two people edited the same record.

Can you integrate with our TMS, WMS or ERP?

Usually, through APIs, file exchange or EDI. Older systems often need a small integration layer to absorb their quirks, which we scope in discovery.

Do drivers need company phones?

Not necessarily. We can build for personal devices with work data kept separate, or for managed devices and rugged handhelds. The choice affects scanning hardware and device management.

Can you add route optimisation?

Yes, by integrating a specialist routing service rather than building the solver ourselves. We focus on fitting it to your constraints: time windows, vehicle capacity, skills.
